I started in internet marketing in 2008 as a way to make a little extra money on the side…. I thought it would be a simple and quick way to get some extra cash and pay some bills.

I worked night a day to try and make it work, buying every course that came out and trying every get rich quick scheme that came my way.

Quickly all I was in achieving was spending money and earning nothing… I could not work out why or what I was doing wrong.

But I didnt give up

 

I kept on going and taking action every day, small steps along the road towards making money online .

I came across a guy, Travis Sago, who talked about ‘The Bum Marketing  method’ a way of promoting online using FREE marketing methods. So I put this into action.

I can’t tell you how stoked I was when I made my first sale online and how great it was to see my efforts being rewarded with traffic to my websites and clicks though my affiliate links making me money.

It took me nearly a year to start  making constant money online… yes I stuck at it as I just knew it would work. The real break through for me was finding a community of like minded people who I could bounce ideas off and learn from.

Who where they ? The members at Wealthy Affiliate  check em out, you wont regret it.

So after going through the ringer and learning the hard way I decided to give back to the other internet marketers by building a blog and e-course to help others not to make the same mistakes I did.

Of course there are still ups and downs in life but this is one journey I would not have changed.
