Everybody out that who is looking how to make money with affiliate marketing it must be very very hard not to fall for the super slick ,very professional and very persuasive videos and sales letters promisingly enough for a mere $47. Not to mention the cast-iron guarantee of full refund if you’re not satisfied within 60 days of your purchase.

My advice, and this wisdom was earned and paid  for through falling for the sales BS these marketers use, is that you need to stop spending your money on these shiny new products and understand that at least 90% of them are cheap, plastic, poorly designed and  utterly useless. Now I know I can hear other internet marketers saying that I can’t put this in my blog, while yes I can because from my experience it’s the truth.

you need to start investing in your business and understanding that making money online and working from home as an affiliate marketer is a business and because of this requires you to treated as such. Now the are shortcuts and you can automate parts of your business, however like all businesses on and off-line it takes consistent work and a clear plan for success.

So if you are like me and you are fed up of getting fed this rubbish they need to think about the following:

If it sounds too good to be true – then it is

Somebody promises you overnight success – then they are lying

If you’re on an e-mail list normally do is sell to you – then unsubscribe

Only spend your money when you are sure that you are going to get real value for your investment. It’s time to stop spending money and to make money.

So I had to find a way to pull myself  back to the activity that adding value to my money making efforts, easier said than done as I have attention span of a 4 year old.

I am driven by reward so I took the following action to make me stay focused on the goal of making money:

• Set Goals which are attainable and measurable – no point setting goals that you can’t achieve in a relatively short time scale as you stop working towards them.
• Visualize  these goals on a board or print out a sheet with them on. Use pictures and words to define the goals in a way you can look at them every day.
• Set up an achieved goals board or sheet so you can see what you have done towards your success
• Display these around your computer / work station . wherever you put them make sure you look at them every day and when you are finding it hard to stay focused.

Looking at these each day you will remind yourself what you are working towards and this has a very positive effect on your activity and therefor results.

You will have heard other internet marketer saying that the only way to fail is to give up. The key is staying focused and taking action every day, by using this technique you program your brain to remind you of what will get when you are sucessful.

The mind is a strange thing and it can be very effective at tripping you up with negative thoughts and slowly erode your drive and willingness to be successful. You can use this power to your benefit and this technique dose this by tapping into the same process and creating positive thoughts based around rewards for your actions.

I have found this a very effective way to keep me on the straight and narrow. It is highly effective and you should develop your own winners mindset tools.
